It’s MAGIC!

With summer vacation time in full swing we were SO fortunate to be able to spend a week in Florida surrounded by family.  To say we had a blast (or a "blast in a glass" for all you Jersey Shore fans…what?...crickets????...anyway) is an EXTREME UNDERstatement. 

There are so many wonderful things about this trip that these posts will go on for days; so fasten your seatbelts and get ready for a road trip down our vacation memory lane!

We caravaned down to Florida with my inlaws which was SUCH a help with the kids.  Ian was able to ride with them and J and I had the other 3.  This worked out fantastically!  Ian tends to…um shall we say instigate things and on a road trip that can get a little hard. 

We stopped in South Carolina for the night, swam in their indoor pool (so nice not to have to worry about sunscreen that day!), ordered pizza for dinner and went to bed early.  Nice!  The next morning we enjoyed a delicious, albeit a bit chaotic continental breakfast and hit the road again.
 

And FINALLY we made it to Orlando!!!

Yep, these little buddy's were tired after such a long day!

We were able to get some free tickets to the Magic Kingdom from my BIL’s sister who works for Disney!  SCORE!!!  My SIL Erin & BIL Jarrett, J & I took Ian all by himself to see the castle.  He was BEYOND excited!!!!  Seeing the things that we take for granted through our kids eyes really puts a new perspective on things doesn't it?  It’s MAGIC!

After we wore Ian out completely we came back for a quick dinner and J’s parents were FANTASTIC to watch the kids that night so Erin, Jarrett, J & I could go back and ride a few rides.  It was SUCH a blast!!!!!

Nothing better than some fireworks to end the night as we are walking back to our car.
