I am super excited to be co-hosting today’s Heavenly Treats Link Party!

A few weeks ago I had a craving for something chocolatey and oh so bad for me.  I caught site of below recipe on a brownie mix hanging out in my pantry.

And THEN when I went to grab the brownie mix I caught sight of some butterscotch chips right next to them.  Hm…

THEN I made the mistake of reading the recipe on the back of them.  Now, I wanted BOTH!  How ridiculous IS that?

I decided to do a little experiment of sorts and I’m happy to say my crazy craving gave birth to something yummy albeit EXTREMELY rich!
Enter…

Experimental Brownie Bars:

What You Need
Brownie mix
½ C. coconut flakes
¼ C. chocolate chips
¼ C. butterscotch chips
2 Eggs
1/2 C. Butter
1 container sweetened condensed milk

What You Do:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Spray a 9x13 pan with cooking spray.  Mix all ingredients EXCEPT the sweetened condensed milk in a bowl.  Pour into greased pan.

Pour sweetened condensed milk over the top.

Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.  Let cool 10 minutes or so and then have at it.

They would be AWESOME topped with whipped topping, cool whip or ice cream!  They are REALLY REALLY REALLY rich!!  But super gooey and delicious!

Oh and ALSO really bad for you!  EEK!
