Well, this was an interesting challenge…I wonder do I REALLY look and sound like this in REAL life? Hm…well anyway…
Ashley @ 5ohwifey & Andi @ the hollie rogue are hosting a pretty cool Girl Behind the Blog link up party! I think it’s going to be SOOOOO FUN to see what everyone looks and sounds like in “real life”!!
The topic of their choosing: What you've been learning...
So this is what I’ve been learning…
Here’s the link to the Mom Heart as promised. I hope it will be an encouragement to you!!
Can’t wait to see what everyone else is learning!
Hi Kelly. Stopping by from the VLOG linkup to say hello :) Glad you decided to join in the fun. Loved your message about being thoughtful as to what comes out of your mouth...haha. I don't have any kidlets yet, but I can only imagine!
ReplyDeleteCheers,
Em

ReplyDeletethis was soooo good. and so true. and i never thought about it like that. i set the stage for how our days go. i always try to be the 'peacemaker" when it comes to my husband and my kids...but i have to watch my patience level and what i say and do as well. thanks so much. i am learning so many valuable lessons today!

ReplyDeleteJenna

ReplyDeleteWow.. you are amazing. All under 3? I love it! I never thought about how I set the stage for our day. Thanks for sharing what is on your heart :-)
ReplyDeleteIt amazes me when I hear about moms with more than one kid under the age of 3, let alone 4 under 3! Just found your blog today, and I already love it :)
ReplyDeleteHi there! I'm visiting fromt he vlog link-up!
ReplyDeleteKelly, I'm not a mother yet, but this is very good parenting advice! THANK YOU! This will come in handy in the near future for me (I hope!).
Oh how I need more patience in my life. Thanks for the reminder!
ReplyDeleteI love this! I work at a learning center and I have to step back and remind myself that what I say and how I say it could stick with these kids for the rest of their lives. I need more patience, not only for them, but for myself. I think when we all let go, take a deep breath, and stay calm, we do ourselves as much good as those with whom we're interacting. Love your vlog!
ReplyDeleteSo glad I found your blog through the vlog link up :)
ReplyDeleteYou are clearly such a sweetheart and I loved hearing your wisdom. Can't wait to follow and read more!
XO
Erin

Great vlog! I struggle with patience on a daily basis and those three little things could really help me focus before I snap at the kids. Thanks for the passing the tip on!
ReplyDeleteWow... 4 kiddos?? You are super woman!!
ReplyDeleteI don't know if you've ever gotten this before, but you look a little like Amanda Seyfried. You definitely have her demeanor. :)
I loved your vlog & your message! Happy to have you in the blog world. :) I also like what you said about you setting the stage for your children's days. So true. I'm not a mother (yet) but I understand how that would be important!
xoxo
Wow, those questions are so great for filtering the words that come out of my mouth. Thank you for sharing! I'm not a mom but I work with students and the things I say have a direct effect.
ReplyDeleteHi Kelly! I'm here from the blog link up. What you had to share was very cool. I am not a mom yet, but being he oldest of six kids, I have definitely seen how easy it is to tear down everyone in the household with just my words and impatience. I'm following along now and excited to get to know you! =)
