What does fall fashion mean to me?  

Right now it's the all important leggings, tall boots & sweaters!  Oh and how about the classic french braid?!  Kinda like what i wore to the farm tour & pumpkin patch a few weeks back!  

I've SO missed linking up with Ma Nouvelle Mode & The Grant Life for their weekly Copy Cat Closet Challenge!!!  This week the challenge was the broad category of "Fall Fashion".  And like i said above what says fall fashion more than leggings & boots these days?

Yeah...so i can't believe I'm writing THIS - A Look Back Link-Up: 1988

Yeah..i DEFINITELY never thought I’d be researching HORROR MOVIES…I get FREAKED out!!!

I USED to like them BUT shortly after J and I got married we watched The Skeleton Key.  It TERRIFIED me!!!  Like BIG TIME terrified me and ever since then I honestly can’t watch scary movies!  “Campy” scary movies like Poltergeist are ok BUT especially anything with demons NO WAY!  I mean those could be true!!!!!!  NO FREAKING WAY DUDES!

Anyway…I digress…1988…I figure what better way to celebrate a look back to 1988 IN OCTOBER & Halloween than to showcase a few of the horror movies that came out that year!

When I think of 1987 I think of the movie, Dirty Dancing.  Summer romance, beautiful scenery…errr Patrick Swayze, dancing…what’s NOT to LOVE?

When I think of this movie I also think of my best friend from childhood, Alison.  

We watched this movie together ALL the time.  We would have sleepovers, make Chef Boyardee Pizza, bake chocolate chip cookies and make popcorn and then get snuggled down into our sleeping bags in the living room and watch Dirty Dancing. 

I truly had “The Time of My Life”!!!

July 1^st is my 6 year wedding anniversary.

Couldn’t think of a BETTER way to start out my post for today’s A Look Back Link-Up: 1984!  

AND FYI, when I was looking up this song on YouTube I TOTALLY got sidetracked by this song!!

I SO couldn’t help it…but alas WRONG YEAR!  Can’t wait for 1987!  My WHOLE theme might be related to Dirty Dancing!!!  

Anyway…I’m getting horrifically OFF track!

At THIS time in 1984, I was 4 years old. 

My FAV toys were My Little Pony’s.  ESPECIALLY the CASTLE!

My FAV friends were my COUSINS Betsy and LeAnn!  They lived on a farm and we ran around the farm and climbed on everything!  Probably the most carefree time of ANY of our lives!

PS:  They had a goat like this!  AND you’ll never guess what his name was…
