Last month Lauren posted a
comment saying she really wished my post was ACTUALLY
about NKOTB even though OF
COURSE she loved meeting some of my friends!!!
Well Lauren your wish is my command!!!
Since this week’s Tuesday 10 over @ Mom 2 Memphis and Ruby could be
about anything, I though I would make this list an ode to The New Kids! I was excited to write this post because it’s
ALWAYS fun to write something JUST because you can. That’s what I like about blogging. I’m free to write whatever I like and make it

I always thought the
cutest NK (New Kid) was Jordan. My best
friend Al loved…Jonathan…or was it Joey?
If Mark Wahlberg hadn’t quit before they got started he totally would
have been my fav! PS: This photo is a recent photo of Mark since the younger ones I found were a tad indecent for a family blog. GEEZ!

HA! I loved new kids on the block, and I watched Live with Kelly and they said it on there that there was a reunion in Hershey, PA with 90 degrees (so loved them too) NKOTB, and LL cool J (now who doesn't love him, he is just sexy :-)

ReplyDeleteoh my word! this just made me laugh. loved this post. I loved donnie from New Kids on the Block. When I was 5 years old my mom bought me several t shirts, a lunch box, and a doll of donnie. too funny.

ReplyDeleteLOVE NKOTB! LL cool j was my first concert. I just went and saw NKOTB at Riverbend a few years ago - I'm nuts! Still in love with Donnie. I LOVE him on Blue Bloods. So I'm still getting my NKOTB fix every friday haha.

ReplyDeleteI am soooooo happy that you wrote this post! I loved every single one of these! So my favorite was Jordan! I LOVED HIM! I had one of those HUGE buttons with his face, and even one of those black hats with the top cut out like Joey did LOL

My friends and I went to thier concert last year and let me tell you we screamed like the tweleve year old girls we used to be it was SO MUCH FUN...i hope they come back to NOLA bc I will be first in line to get tickets...LOVE THEM and I LOVE THIS POST!!

ReplyDeleteI had the "Step by Step" concert video AND the tape. I was really young, so I didn't have a favorite. But my cousin is a die-hard. She still loves Joey to this day. I was with her when her Joey keychain broke. She fell to her knees crying. I'm not sure if the copious amounts of alcohol contributed to her breakdown or not, just that it happened. Sad day.
